ETHICAL PROPERTY FOUNDATION
Drew Pearce is pleased to announce that Lloyd Smale FRICS has been accepted for Membership of the Ethical Property Foundation’s Register of Property Professionals.
The Ethical Property Foundation is a unique charity that helps charities and community groups thrive by solving their property problems. It was founded in 2004 by its sister organisation ‘The Ethical Property Company’.
Specifically geared to the charity sector, the Foundation’s property advice service offers independent, jargon free advice and training designed to empower charities and community groups to transform the property they occupy and manage into a boost rather than a burden. Its advice service is based on ethical standards promoting best practice and encouraging fairness between landlords and tenants.
The Foundation’s advice team can provide practical tips and insider knowledge on specific property enquiries or problems, along with referrals to tried and tested property professionals who understand the specific needs of the charity and voluntary sector. This is where Lloyd Smale and the Drew Pearce team can come into play.
The Regional Property Manager for the Ethical Property Foundation in the south-west is Patsy Newton and in commenting on the appointment said “I am delighted that Lloyd Smale has joined our Register of Property Professionals and I’m sure that he will make a valuable contribution to the work of the Foundation in the South West.”
On behalf of Drew Pearce Lloyd Smale said: “As a firm we have always provided valuation and property related services to clients in the charity sector and we are delighted to consolidate this by now joining the Ethical Property Foundation’s Register of Property Professionals. Our professional standards and the ethos of the firm sit well with the Ethical Property Foundation’s ethical principles and we look forward to working with them in expanding our activities in the charity and not for profit sector”.
