Solicitors Croquet Challenge 2009
Drew Pearce Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents were once again delighted to host their annual ‘Solicitors Croquet Challenge’, which despite an early evening shower, was concluded under blue skies and warm evening sunshine! This year’s nominated charity was Hospiscare for whom Alison Palfrey, Director of Fundraising, spoke movingly about the work of this important local charity.
From an initial entry of 33 teams friendly but keenly competitive matches whittled the entry down to a final four comprising WBW, Kitson Hutchings, Tozers Team 1 and Tozers Team 2. The impressive winners were WBW represented by Catherine Causey and Michael Martin. Stephen Burtchaell and Peter Edwards of Tozers were the runners up.
Speaking on behalf of Drew Pearce Michael Henderson thanked everyone for attending and braving the initially inclement weather and for their support of Hospiscare.
