Building Surveyor

Graduating from Leicester Polytechnic in 1987, John qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1989 after some initial training in Leicester and subsequently London. He has a wide range of experience, working in London for a number of private practices and across a broad range of commercial property sectors. Further experience was achieved working in Toronto for 12 months where, after surviving the coldest winter for 25 years, he worked with the Structural Engineers responsible for designing Canary Wharf.

John is experienced in the full range of Building Surveying services but has specialised in all aspects of property management and in particular, dilapidations. Pre-acquisition surveys, both commercial and residential, have been undertaken on a vast range of property types over John's 22 years working experience.

Originally born in Exeter, John is pleased to return home after so many years away, and is keen to use the experience gained elsewhere here in the South West property sector.

Outside the office John and his wife have recently finished the complete refurbishment of their new home. Sporting interests include rowing, squash, skiing and cricket. There is also plenty of dog walking courtesy of "Boris" - who often accompanies John into the office.
