Having relocated to the Westcountry in 1984 Paul had previously qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with a major firm in Birmingham and later London and become a Fellow of the RICS in 1979.

Throughout his career he has been concerned with general practice activities which have included valuation, property investment, acquisition and disposal, and portfolio management.

Paul joined Drew Pearce as a consultant following the merger of his practice, Wards, with Drew Pearce in 2005 and is presently concerned with the management of clients’ investment properties, dealing also with rent reviews and lease renewals.

Paul’s interests include country sports, hill walking and music.
