Originally from Okehampton in West Devon, Lloyd qualified in 1983 whilst with the District Valuer/Valuation Office Agency in Truro, spending over 20 years with the District Valuer, primarily whilst based in the Exeter Office.

Having gained wide ranging valuation experience across most property types, Lloyd retains a particular interest and specialism in valuations for Capital Taxation, including 1982 Valuations for Capital Gains Tax and in respect of Agricultural Property Relief issues and Inheritance Tax generally.  Lloyd also provides valuations for loan security purposes of residential, commercial and development properties; and general valuation and property related advice across a broad spectrum including for Leasehold Enfranchisement and Lease Extensions, Telecommunications Masts, Compulsory Purchase & Compensation, Pipeline Claims, Expert Witness reports,  Rating and Council Tax.  Lloyd is involved in providing valuations and advice for residential, development, commercial and agricultural properties.

Outside interests include being an Accredited Local Preacher within the Methodist Church, auctioneering for charity, supporting Plymouth Argyle, playing tennis and sporadic golf!

Lloyd and his wife have three daughters, a dog and a chicken!
